Badlapur (2015)

A Perfect Tribute To Chan-wook Park's Vengeance Series
21 February 2015
This movie gave me another huge HOPE that Indian Cinema can be great just like any other great movies of the World. Though the story was not an original concept as it was highly inspired from Korean director Chan-wook Park's Vengeance Series, Badlapur delivered and outstanding story with brilliant performance.

All three movies of the Korean Vengeance Series Oldboy, Sympathy for Mr. Vengeance and Sympathy for Lady Vengeance were based on complete separate stories, there were no connection between them except one and that is 'Vengeance'. Badlapur which is also about the same topic showing the true form of Vengeance and how it changes a person towards insanity. Just like the Korean movies Badlapur tells a story that is more human and more practical, all the characters are so awesomely portrayed that the viewers can easily connect with them, understand them and can feel their pain.

No doubt it's a masterpiece from the director Sriram Raghavan and as I am expecting from the movies tag-line "Don't miss the beginning" the second and third chapter of the "BADLA" are coming soon and I am eagerly waiting for them.
