Action Jackson (I) (2014)
1/10
Horrible

Warning: Spoilers
Prabhu Devaa returns after a year since R Rajkumar which released on the same date last year and surprisingly was a hit when Shahid's films were flopping. The film is yet another Prabhu Devaa style nonsense after the success of Wanted,Rowdy Rathore.etc Surprisingly it's not a south remake similar to R Rajkumar which also was not but it looks like a badly made tamil film. Ajay Devgn after Singham seems to have become synomonous with south remakes and their style films. Action Jackson also makes him dance which looks odd. He plays a double role after a long time last being Yeh Raaste Hain Pyaar Ke perhaps. The film has him paired opposite 3 heroines, Sonakshi, Yami Gautam and Newcomer

The film is so awful, it makes you cringe, Sonakshi gets lucky after seeing Ajay change his underwear that is enough to make you cringe The film doesn't have anything worthwatching, it has all the same outdated concepts thrown in by Prabhu Devaa

Direction is nothing great Music is okay, Keeda is a hit track but none are worth recalling and Himesh's voice also makes some songs worse Some action scenes are good but mostly are overdone in typical south style

Ajay Devgan does well in both roles but looks out of sorts in some scenes, he doesn't fit well in the comic nonsense kind part also Prabhu Devaa makes him behave like a south Indian thug in the role of Vijju which gets irritating Sonakshi Sinha yet again repeats her act she has been doing in most of her films and is getting repetitive Yami Gautam is good but all she gets to do is get whacked by goons Manasvi is okay in her debut, Anandraj south Indian actor is okay in a negative role, Kunal Roy Kapoor gets to play Ajay's sidekick and is okay rest are okay The film sees Puru Raaj Kumar after a long time but he too is wasted, ditto for Razzak Khan
