Timbuktu (2014)
Anatomy of barbarism
11 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
As far as I know, that's the first - at least one of the first - films made about Islam extremists spreading terror and destruction in Mali. Those Islamists Nazis dictating Charria law to the poor people living in villages, killing men, women and children. Those human barbarians whose the behaviour is less than beasts' one. It was awful to watch such a film. A very good one, I point out. A very daring, courageous movie. I guess the director risked his life whilst making this tremendous piece of work. I love, I crave for this kind of picture, far away from the Hollywood crap for prick audiences enhancing super heroes. This movie deserves an Academy Award.

Don't miss it.
