Dreadful
28 April 2014
I don't even know where to start with this review since the film was bad on so many levels. We decided to watch this after seeing it on IFC On Demand. There were three couples and 4 of the people fell asleep. However, I had the pleasure of sitting through this poorly executed joke of a film. At times, it seemed more like a parody or a comedy but the rest of the time, it just seemed like a sad, amateur attempt at a stale format. There were dozens of significant story flaws including a GPS that can actually find remote camp sites in the mountains, electronic interference that disables every electronic device except for the camera shooting the footage, a consumer camera that can survive a 20,000 foot fall and can run for several days on a single charge. If you see the trailer and think this film seems interesting, it isn't, just keep moving.
