I don't work for the creators etc so my view is my own personal opinion. My 16 yr old daughter likes this and we always watch TV together in the evenings so I watched this too and have to say it's alright. Not great but definitely not bad. Sci-Fi shows are getting axed all the time so anything new is a plus as far as I see it. I would definitely watch these shows over reality TV, soaps & cookery shows which seem to be on the increase. We will continue to watch this as I think it's OK.
*spoilers bit* I have to say though that the earthlings shooting the aliens straight away after they crash land is ridiculous, the aliens were not threatening in anyway and even had their hands up in a submissive gesture. But then this planet of ours is harboring such savage evil human beings that any alien race would probably never dare come here in peace if they have observed what goes on here every day.
