Could a plot get any thinner? And yet this movie works for the exact reason it exists: Its just fun. Told almost in real time, this movie is pretty much a cartoon chase. Wilee's name is pretty obvious, and in case the viewer misses the joke, one character literally spells it out. It is excellently filmed, giving the viewer a bike messenger's view of Manhattan while delivering a giddy, vertiginous ride. Lots of thrills, at least a couple of rousing, heroic moments and some well-earned laughs. Doesn't deserve to be on anybody's top ten list of 2012 films, but its definitely a fun way to enjoy the time it takes to down a tub of popcorn and a large drink.
