And Kanye West does so in the truest sense of the word in this 11-minute-short film. He got Spike Jonze return to shooting music videos for this one, so I was kinda curious what the outcome might be. Unfortunately, apart from the last 2 or 3 minutes, I was rather disappointed. Basically, we're watching Kanye at the club, having a a pretty rough night and neither the visuals were particularly aesthetic nor the music really good. I'm a great fan of West's Through the Wire. It's probably one of my favorite songs and music videos of the 21st century so far and I love the way he, but this one here didn't do too much for me.
On a side note, this was done shortly before the notorious Taylor Swift accident. Looks like he may not have cut out the whole thing yet. One to watch for fans of West or Jonze, the rest can stay away.
