this is a terrific little film. A bit like a small forward, industrious, always lurking around the packs, then bobbing up just when you want them to kick a goal, with or against the run of the play.
It is very tight, the focus is on the characters, and the direction builds and holds the tension. It is a comedy drama, but with heart and feeling.
each of the actors gives their utmost, and builds really complex picture. All are both sympathetic and unsympathetic in parts, creating a nice tension
The script cracks along, and none of the actors are left with dud lines, apart from Molly perhaps! THis should become an inner city cult classic and deserves to be seen far and wide.
Oh, and the soundtrack is a ripper.
