Fry loses his nose and almost loses something more important to him!
19 August 2012
Warning: Spoilers
While out on a camping expedition looking for the fabled Bigfoot Fry is abducted by aliens; when he returns to the campsite the next morning he is shocked to learn that his nose has vanished! It turns out that he was a victim of poachers who sell the noses as 'human horn'; a product believed to be an aphrodisiac on some alien worlds. The crew set off to search some of the galaxies sleazier trading posts and eventually find the shop that had Fry's nose. It turns out that they have already sold it to a familiar alien! It looks like Fry will get his nose back and survive unscathed until Bender asks why anybody would think a human nose would be an aphrodisiac; it turns out they believed the nose was the reproductive organ and when Bender explains things to them they demand his 'lower horn'! If Fry is to survive with his manhood intact he'll have to find another way of getting the aliens 'in the mood for love.

This was a good episode with plenty of good laughs; although some of them are a bit crude I expect those would go over the heads of younger viewers; these are mostly Bender's jokes about Fry's 'lower horn' and what he does with it. The couple of bickering aliens are a welcome return (I won't spoil things by saying who they are!). The Bigfoot jokes are a bit predictable but should still provoke a giggle of two. Surprisingly the biggest laugh of the episode was provided by Hermes when he proclaims that he has to do some business behind the trees then actually does business in the literal rather than metaphorical sense.
