I've seen this movie twice. The first time I was 14, and recall finding the first half of the movie very, very funny, and the second, murderous half just plain disturbing. The second time I saw it I was in college, and found the first off dull, and the second half hilarious. (I think I had the same experience with The Ruling Class.)
That was almost 30 years ago, and I'm curious as to how I would react if I saw it today. It is certainly an interesting dark comedy, and it had Stockard Channing and Lou Grant in it, which is a good thing even though all these years later I couldn't tell you what I thought of them. I'd like to see this again someday. Would I like all of it, or none?
