Review of Australia

I actually bought this thing to test if the BluRay disk (region B only, thanks FOX) would play in a region-freed DVD. It does. Yesterday I went through it all. It is a Pain. Roger Ebert was right, I only read him yesterday, it is a remake of "Gone with the Wind". A very bad one. Remaking classical movies, today 2011 is plain silly. The values are not the same, the morals have gone, the Actors and Actresses are plain crap, the script is silly and sometimes violates the History. I would not be surprised if General Douglas McArthur would have Baz Luhrman sent to the Galleys.. Australian cinema does not exist ..
