Loved it!
2 April 2011
An excellent road movie with a quirky cast, an interesting story, cool soundtrack and very good cinematography. Some of the scenes I found myself wondering how anyone could not only conceive of this but also communicate it so beautifully in film. An insomniac French actor and his pill popping manager on their way to a film-fest in the Arctic Circle to audition for a legendary American director in a stolen car with a stowaway rockabilly musician in the trunk (Whew!). Throw in a cast-off femme from a Fellini movie and you have the makings of one very funny independent film. This movie though is not for everyone's taste. Could have easily been a tribute to Jim Jarmusch as it reminded me so much of one of his movies. All in all, it was one fun ride.
