Love is above ideologies
6 March 2011
Carlos Iglesias had a brilliant debut with "Un franco 14 pesetas". Now back with a story of another time. It is nothing less than the Spanish Civil War and tells us the case of children who were Russia pulled out of the country to search out a better future. In Russia 1941 would find the Second World War. In this group Spanish children were adults as well as tutors. The story beyond telling the adventures, adventures and misadventures of this group of people ravaged by cold and hunger, delves into the relationships human, to show a story of love between persons of bands irreconbiliables presumed. The whole adventure is epic and entertaining. The less positive is the true seriousness of the narrator in his narrative moments in which overreact and actresses difficult it is for churches and almost everyone who is address the issue without falling, as in Manichaeism. All modes is a rarity in Spanish cinema. The boldness and originality of the proposal should be of recognized Carlos Iglesias.
