Thrillseekers (1973–1974)
Thrillseekers
19 February 2011
Thrillseekers was Produced, Written and Directed by my father, Larry Stewart. It was one of, if not the first of what we today call "Reality" shows. I'd be curious to see how many people might want to see this show in re-runs. I've often thought of bringing it back. For the other reviewer, it aired on NBC, not ABC, later, ABC aired That's Incredible, which was kind of a steal of Thrillseekers but with onstage hosts, rather than on site hosts like Chuck Connors was. It was a fun show to shoot and was shot all over the United States and Canada. Curious what ever happened to those in the show, especially Teresa Jeffries who trained wild animals for films and TV shows.
