Stepsisters (1974)
3/10
Where'd it go wrong, Perry Tong?

Warning: Spoilers
Diana is sick of her cheatin' husband Thorpe and things only get worse when her step-sister Norma comes back home to live with them. Inexplicably, Norma has the hots for Thorpe (he looks like Terry Bradshaw on meth) and conspires with him to off Diana so that he can sell the land to an oil company. This Texas lensed indie doesn't offer much in the way of horror or thrills. Sadly, the DVD cover gives away the killer and the twist isn't too hard seeing as -SPOILER - there are only three people involved and director Perry Tong makes sure to never show the upper body of Diana's secret lover. -END SPOILER- The film's one amazing attribute is the giant house location. It is an amazing place and Tong gives some of the back-story on in during a 10-minute interview. The rest is totally forgettable.
