A charming little french thriller

Warning: Spoilers
I saw it a while ago, four years. I did not expect so much from Jacques Bral. This guy already made some films in the 80's. Atmospheric films noirs in Paris by night. Not charmless for those like me who love Paris...

Eddy Mitchell gives here a powerful performance as an ex con, a sort of anti hero, who is implicated in a robbery with a petty thug as an accomplice. Not an ambitious action and gunfight crime movie, but touching characters and some good surprises in the screenplay. Not an usual programmer with the good and bad guys scheme, and the silly happy ending that silly idiots love so much. We should see more features like this one, with little budgets and good atmosphere. Score is fascinating adequate with the scenes and the story.

A very interesting time waster.
