It was just a simple film about friendship love and sandwiches! I don't think that anyone was expecting this to be a masterpiece. If you wanna see a good movie, with stunning performances then this is not your film. If you are just looking to spend an hour and a half with a film that will make you smile then you are at the right place. To be honest, I consider this film as one of my guilty pleasures. It's silly but I enjoyed it. It had some good twists (very few), but generally it was predictable. The characters were quite well presented - you are going to loooooove Priestley! I'm pretty sure most people may find an aspect of the characters in which they can relate to somehow. The only thing that I would be more than happy to change in this film is Piper's story. I found her behaviour creepy.
All in all, I rated this film with 7/10. Why 7 and not worse as I usually in films like this? Because I was convinced that all the writer and director wanted to make is a happy romantic film just to cheer you up. I don't think anyone was planning for the movie of the year. Why not make it more realistic? I live realistic everyday, I don't mind watching fairy tales every once in a while.
