Review of Sectionals

Glee: Sectionals (2009)
Season 1, Episode 13
10/10
"Sectionals" was a fine finale for the initial thirteen episode run of "Glee"
11 October 2010
Warning: Spoilers
"I think you will be adding revenge to the list of things you're not good at including getting married, running a glee club, and finding a hairstyle that doesn't make you look like a lesbian." Considering the real-life orientation of the person making that statement, that's quite a funny comment. Anyway, Sue Sylvester certainly gets what's coming to her when it's found out she's responsible for the other two glee clubs stealing the set list of the New Directions from hew own McKinley High. Also, Rachel-having a sixth sense-finds out that Puck is the real father of Quinn's upcoming baby and tells Finn who punches Puck out. And when Emma moves her wedding to a few hours after sectionals, well, Ken's not too thrilled about that...With this, the thirteenth episode of the first season of "Glee", most of the loose ends are tied up as the McKinley glee club manages to win the competition despite the judges, which included that news anchor that Sue tried to date a few eps back, not knowing about the other teams' cheating. Quite an entertaining episode musically as well what with Mercedes performing "And I'm Telling You" in the beginning, Rachel doing "Don't Rain on My Parade" for the actual competition, and the whole gang singing "You Can't Always Get What You Want" and "My Life Would Suck Without You", the latter on the occasion of Will Schuester's return. Looking forward to the rest of the first season's episodes now...
