When one hears of a film with completely unrecognizable actors and an unreasonable plot, we usually tend to ignore the project. But this had something different to offer.
Basically it is a story very similar to the scooby-doo cartoons (not the film). There are 3 nerdy looking guys who vow to solve any mystery that comes their way. Their projects are very silly and childish and their tip is usually from an even dumber member of the cast.
Their mundane lifestyle is changed with a murder taking place in the neighbourhood. It allows them to go on a "scintillating" adventure which ultimately ends with the perpetrators getting caught in what can only be described as a weird circumstance.
This is very much an episode of Scoobe-Doo without the ghosts and Scooby. It manages to capture the aura of the cartoon with the quirky laughters and the paradox involved (something the scooby doo movie failed to do I must add) and perhaps that is what elevated this from an average to a step higher.
Verdict: Will make you go back to days of Scooby and the mystery machine and must be watched if one wants to go there.
