Something Fun and Different for Sideshow Bob,
2 July 2010
The Great Louse Detective is a great Simpsons episode with a well written storyline and loads of very funny scenes. It's a very enjoyable episode that does something different and interesting with Sideshow Bob, all of his appearances on the show up to this one had him trying to kill Bart, but here we get to see him investigate who could have possibly tried to kill Homer, the scenes between the two of them are brilliant, particularly the part where Homer must show Bob what he would do on a "normal day". The only thing I don't really like about this episode is that Bob eventually tries to kill Bart at the end, I liked how they were finally giving the character something else to do, and I think if they hadn't thrown that in at the end it could have opened up more story lines of Bob doing something else for the family. The twist at the end brought a smile to my face, bringing Simpsons fans back to a classic episode and a fan favourite, it was a very interesting and unexpected turn. It may not be the best or most memorable moment for Sideshow Bob, but the Great Louse Detective is a very enjoyable and different Simpsons episode.

After a murder attempt on Homer, the police sign Sideshow Bob up to investigate, much to Bart's dismay.
