Legend of the Seeker

I heard about Legend of the Seeker about 3 months ago through many almost rabid recommendations from friends online, and after being bugged about it for a couple weeks, I began to catch up, starting with Season 1.

The first episode had me hooked, the sets, costumes, landscape, cinematography, and acting had me coming back for more. It was difficult not to watch Legend of the Seeker right through the night to see what would happen next to the Seeker, Confessor, and Wizard, and after I had finished the first season, I felt like a part of a family - not only of the characters, but of the amazing fanbase as well.

In the second season the addition of new characters and challenges has kept me watching every week. I laughed, I cried, I fell in love with the Legend of the Seeker world all over again.

It's hard to explain to somebody who does not watch Seeker what it truly means because of how much the show talks about. It talks about love, the difficult choices everyone has to make, seeing the best in people, that you have to keep fighting for what you believe in, and the inevitability of death and loss - of course intermixed with epic sword fights and horse rides.

The second best thing to a Seeker episode the fans picspams, discussions, and reviews that follow them - I have laughed out loud too many times to count while reading Seeker-related blog entries, and have met some of the coolest people I know because of Legend of the Seeker.

I highly recommend this show to everybody I know.

It's been an awesome adventure, and know I will follow the Seeker on any quest he sets out on.
