Vampires in Cornwall
25 March 2010
This is a very funny, unpretentious, light-hearted, feel-good film. An affectionate parody of the vampire genre, it manages to go further than the old Hammer films ever did: the body parts served for dinner are particularly revoltingly realistic, and the vampire wenches are absolutely delectable.

Some of the one-liners are memorable: "Oh my head! Who was I drinking last night?" or "If you need anything, scream."

Shades of Monty Python as the evil vampiress Morticia bemoans "It's the one single drawback of being undead. That and crucifixes, the two single drawbacks....." With so many humorous references and comic characters it is a veritable feast of smiles. a must see!
