Well i've seen a whole lot of Sci-fi movies and to be honest when i saw the title of that movie i was expecting something more intriguing than what i saw .. but bottom-line is , there's nothing that has to do with the Mayans and their calendar, Graphics aren't really that good and the storyline was horrible with a whole lot of forced elements into the plot .. for example the Palestinians people or the terrorist cell that just happens to be operating in the U.S and by some miracle managed to know that a guy who works for the government is trafficking nuclear weapons in his truck -which is a whole different LOL-Worthy element - then a Chinese scientist that betrays the U.S just to add some more complication to the plot while the fate of the whole solar system is hanging in the balance. not to mention the scientific glitches as to where that half of the solar system got destroyed with no impact whatsoever on earth and my personal favorite .. that nuclear weapons is the solution to all our problems and in which case a shield made from nuclear detonations is going to save the earth from a super-nova. The acting was horrible .. the storyline was even more horrible and the graphics weren't too good. Bottomline, i wouldn't recommend that movie for anyone.
