Francis (Aidan Gillen) works in a photo-mart during the day and takes care of his semi-invalid mother at night. Is it really his mother? I'm not so sure.
He finds a peephole to spy on Gloria (Emmanuelle Seigner) and his masturbatory acts increase. Soon, he has many more sins to confess as Gloria somehow falls in love with him.
Now, Gloria is supposedly a vegan, but she has this nasty secret that Francis finds out about, but can't prove.
But, there is more strange things going on as a missing girl keeps popping up, and a dead body even ends up in Francis' apartment.
