Even though the special effects and the acting was horrible the movie can actually be viewed. This movie was so bad it actually became watchable because of it! We laughed so hard when they started praying in the end that we actually fell of the couch :D
Its nice to see Casper Van Dien back (from the first movie) and he lifts the movie up a bit. Marnette Patterson was the highlight for me in this through her small (but very funny) role as the fanatical religious stewardess.
Of course they have pressed some nudity in it since it wouldn't have been a true starship troopers film without it (and yes, that is kind of tacky).
