Super Bowl XXXV (2001 TV Special)
5/10
Defense wins championships.
3 February 2008
"Super Bowl XXXV" between the AFC and NFC champs the Baltimore Ravens and N.Y. Giants turned out to be mostly one sided and a blow out as clearly the better team won the tough and aggressive Ravens lead by the D and Ray Lewis. The game would start off with Raven QB Trent Dilfer throwing a quick TD pass then the Ravens quick and aggressive D would lead to Giants turnovers as it would end up that Giants QB Kerry Collins would throw four interceptions. And the Ravens would dazzle with a kickoff return score and the rushing of 102 yards from rookie RB Jamal Lewis and to close out MLB and team leader Ray Lewis was the game MVP in the 34-7 win.
