Mortal Kombat: Armageddon (2006 Video Game)
6/10
gets boring at times
2 February 2008
Warning: Spoilers
The game is fun when you just buy it, but after you play it a lot, you begin to see that it's just based off of the rest of the MK games.

Combat: Fighters have 2 fighting styles (one martial art, one weapon). They are just styles taken from previous fighters in Deception and Deadly Alliance. However, all 63 characters are in it and most of them have a useful move list.

Konquest: There is the good, the bad, and the ugly.

The good: You get to fight in a free environment this time, but no side missions. Numerous enemies and death traps that may give you quite a challenge are also found here. Collect Koins and unlockables as you go.

The bad: Konquest is short and gets boring playing as Taven. Nothing to do except follow the storyline. No side missions or special opportunities.

The ugly: Death traps are overused.

Kreate A Fighter: Make your own fighter to play as. Design the characteristics and the outfit of your fighter. However, there are limited resources here.

Kreate A Fatality: I hate this feature, as do most who play this game. Give a combination of buttons to finish your opponent (practically everyone has the same thing). One mistyping can screw up the whole fatality.

Motor Kombat: I almost never use this, and for a good reason. It sucks. You pick one of about eight drivers and drive in a hazardous course against the other drivers. Limited resources here as well. Spin-off of Mario Kart.

Overall, 7 stars.
