Some of you might have read the old review of mine and thought it was bad. you're right. 15 people hated it, and considering how much this one particular show is not so well known, i think that was pretty bad.
Well, let's get down to the wire. This show is based on 11 year old Nicholas martin (who becomes older in the later series) who is trying to fit in with his friends, and sometimes it requires going over a line he can't cross because of his beliefs. however, he's created a little animated man known as McGee, who helps him learn all lessons he needs to know.

Episode 1 - The big lie - Nick learns that even a little dishonesty can get you into some big trouble when he lies about a strange neighbor of his.
Episode 2 - Star in the Breaking - Nick luckily ends up on a gameshow called TrashTV (quite similar to uh-oh in a way) and while he thinks he's a big celebrity, he gets a wake-up-call when he gets "creamed" by his opponent.
Episode 3 - The Not-so great escape - Nick's friends and all the kids at school are talking about going to see "night of the blood freaks" a movie filled with everything a kid his age shouldn't be seeing. despite his parents saying no, he goes anyway, and learns why he shouldn't have in the first place.
Episode 4 - Skate Expectations - Nick witnesses some bullies picking on the school nerd, and decides to go up in a skateboarding race against the bully. if he wins, the bully leaves the nerd alone. if he doesn't, well, nick becomes a slave to the bully for a week. (This episode was actually my favorite. it's just too bad that it was made before the days of tony hawk, because then it would be a skills competition instead of a skateboard race.)
Episode 5 - Twister and Shout - Nick's parents are out, and the family is stuck alone in their home when a tornado hits. this one was rather scary.
Episode 6 - Back to the drawing board - Nick is jealous of a fellow student's art.
Episode 7 - Do the bright thing - McGee goes inside nick's head and does all of his decisions for him, which doesn't always turn out right.
Episode 8 - Take me out of the ball game - Nick is on a little leagues team and they're the best, all because of one player - Thurman Miller - he's seemingly unbeatable, but will they win the little league world series against the defending champs, the dodgers? McGee also does his own version of "Casey at the bat"
Episode 9 - Twas the night before Christmas - it's Christmas, and nick is all over it, but the episode doesn't revolve around him, it revolves around the bully from episode 4. nick discovers how the bully, derrick, got so mean in the first place.
Episode 10 - In the Nick of time - This episode shows an older nick going mountain climbing, but having trouble conquering his fears of climbing the mountains. soon his fear is put to the test when he as to rescue his dad off the biggest mountain anyone's ever climbed - the Giant.
Episode 11 - The Blunder Years - Nick meets a couple of "Cool" people and begins to act all "cool" but ends up learning from a reformed Derrick, the bully, to be who he is.
Episode 12 - Beauty in the least - Nick has some relatives from Bulgaria who come to stay at his place, but he says something that sends them running, and he's determined to right the wrong he did.
McGee and Me was rather quite funny. McGee did several parodies of movies and TV shows, and in his own way, and in the meantime, viewers were learning things that normally they wouldn't.
but really, it is still a black sheep in a crowd. but either way, it's one of "focus on the family"'s best.
