Counterstrike (2002 TV Movie)
1/10
Unless one is a die-hard fan of the cast, pass it by (low possibility of a spoiler)

Warning: Spoilers
I picked it up as a weekday movie because it looked okay and it was a pleasant surprise to see Rachel Blakely in the opening scenes but soon after that, she was one of the only two reasons why I continued to watch the movie.

The second was to see what blatant flaw they would commit next.

Hardly anything in the movie makes sense, from the action of the heros to those of the crooks followed on by those of the supporting parties. It's a world that exists the way it does because the movie needs it to exist that way to tell a story that is not realistic. I realize that most movies are like that, altering the universe to a degree so the situation can take place, but this one does it to such an extent that it might as well take place on another planet that developed entirely differently from Earth.

It MIGHT be acceptable as a child's movie, but to any adult, especially those who know that terrorism existed well before 9/11, this movie can make one sick to their stomach.
