Buried Alive
16 June 2007
The CSI Nick Stokes (George Eads) is kidnapped while investigating a crime scene and buried alive in a glass casket by his kidnapper. The Las Vegas Police Department receives a package with a tape and a hardware to permit watch Nick inside the casket, together with a request of one million dollars cash to release him. The mayor refuses to pay the ransom, but Catherine Willows (Marg Helgenberger) asks her wealthy father and gets the amount. Then Gil Grissom (William Petersen) schedules a meeting with the criminal to deliver the money and be informed where Nick is.

The plot of "Grave Danger Volume 1" is very similar to 1999 "Oxygen", i.e., a person buried alive with limited oxygen and the police fighting against time trying to find some clue. This episode of CSI was released in Brazil with the sequel in a DVD with a beautiful package and exploring the name of Quentin Tarantino, but I have found nothing original or special. My vote is six.

Title (Brazil): "Perigo a Sete Palmos" ("Danger Six Feet Under")

Note: On 23 January 2023, I saw this episode again.
