Vampires and Nazis and Crazy Priests, OH MY!
23 April 2007
Warning: Spoilers
Alright. This will probably be biased as I'm a huge Hellsing fan to begin with. If you've stumbled upon this whilst looking for the crappy American movie Van Hellsing, please don't leave just yet. You see, with watching Hellsing, you're in for a treat.

Hellsing follows the adventures of a vampire named Alucard, working for the Hellsing organization. He goes around and kills other, rouge vampires in quite bloody and over the top and generally awesome ways, along the way turning a young police girl, Victoria Seras into a vampire as well.

*Cue HAWT 30 mm vampire carried cannon system* Generally, Hellsing focuses on the hyper-violence involved in killing various vampires, ghouls, and other baddies with incredibly large pistols and rifles (remember the 30 mm cannon thing I was talking about? Yeah.) to excellently composed music.

Me? I just can't wait until the Nazis get involved. That's when the awesome stuff starts going down. Since this version follows the manga's plot exactly, you know what's going to happen. Seras's kill in 7 will be mind-blowing.

Anyway, its accessible to fans of the previous series because they kept the voice actors from the previous series, along with much improved animations including CG, especially for specific parts with Alucard.

7-4-07- Hellsing 8. Oh yeah.
