My expectations were not very high for this film based on Rest Stop a previous release from this group. THat film was mildly enjoyable but not this mess. Sublime should have been called pretentious, or better narcissistic pretension. The sexual tension between George and the nurse was the only part of the film that held my attention. Everything else was so forced, transparent or just plain boring. I was actually more interested in the fake Home Shopping Network TV spots George was watching than any of the characters. THe music was atrocious and took away from any small bit of tension that was there. Wait, I exaggerate, there was no tension, even during an amputation the direction was bland and boring. How can a long amputation generate no concern, no excitement, and even no disgust? Because this movie is just a mess. Raw feed - listen to me - do not market this film as horror (expecially psychological horror), because it is not. Label it an allegorical social commentary by film makers who have no clue about making such a film. They were in over their head and in order to make money have tried to push this boring mess as horror. Shame on you. Until you prove otherwise I will not purchase any more of your films. Fool me once....
