I really do like this show. It has very short, simple and sweet story lines. The plots and such don't seem to drag on and on. I might be a little bit bias towards this show because of how the show is set up. I am one of those non supermodel but not unfortunate looking woman who hangs out with nothing but stupid and funny perverts all day long. It's like looking at an exaggerated version of my life. I have had a guy or two crush on me within my group of friends, I mean guys don't IGNORE the fact they find a girl attractive (the show at times does have the men note her sexual/attractive appeal). But when you really have a friend, that is a girl, that you really do consider one of the guys... they sort of have that, it's my best friend's girlfriend and sort of lose their sexual appeal a bit. These men are supposed to be nice genuine guys, which is why they're not all trying to bone her (when you've known a girl forever you only try to hit her up after that long when your like my perverted guy friend who does everyone and anyone at any given time) .
(Not trying to spoil anything for anyone who hasn't seen any of these shows but you really should give it a shot) This girl goes through what I go through most of the time with my guy friends. She and "her boys" constantly try to fix each other's weird relationships with the opposite sex. The guys are constantly picking out hotties from the crowd in front of her as if she's getting as much as they are out of it. Also they sometimes make her second guess her own unfeminine appearance. And for some reason they really like dancers. Sometimes her baseball analogies can be a little annoying/repetitive. But for any girl who's friend situations are similar to hers or mine, you could really enjoy this show. I think you'll find it very interesting some of the happenings she goes through that you too may have gone through.
I'm not saying that this show is the most REALISTIC show ever. But it has very nice light humor, it's not over flowing with ridiculous drama and it doesn't drag on. It's just nice to see a girl I can relate to up on the screen.
