I have seen a lot of bad movies, but this one tops it all. It has the serious tone, the mandatory plot twist where reality and fiction mix, the fallen star (Mickey Rooney)... Try to keep your laughing muscles flexible, there are a lot of gems in the film.
I saw it some time ago, but I will try to remember the plot. A detective must discover a mystery -- for some reason, not well explained, he must visit a number of bad guys, who keep dying before they can tell him the secret. One of them has two strong bodyguards who spend their time playing chess; they manipulate the pieces like they were turnips. Another bad guy is a homosexual; his attack is surrounding the detective by aggressive transvestites. He pulls some of them over the top of a boat and the rest disappear.
It is unlikely this movie and you will ever cross paths, but if you have the chance try to watch it. You will not be disappointed.
