Movie stars shouldn't sing.

There's a lot to be said for this series. It's very well shot and edited, and the behind the scenes stuff is very entertaining as well as informative.

As a working musician, I can tell you that the depiction of what life is like "on the road" at this level is quite accurate.

-And Gina is such a babe, even in her late 30's.

She even looks great as a rocker. The moves are there, the smile. Not too much ego, great connection with the audience....

The whole thing would really be something if the girl would just keep her mouth shut on stage. She kinda' sorta' sounds like Chrissy Hynde of the Pretenders, except THE GIRL CAN'T SING. OK, I've heard worse. At least she hits the

notes and has a cool attitude. -But there's just no sound or power there. Too much growl, as if to say "listen to me, I'm a rock star." Bleah....

If she wasn't famous, and was playing in some local dive, she'd probably get

stuff thrown at her. If she was a wedding singer, she wouldn't be working much.

C'mon, Gina. Take some vocal lessons, then try it again.

It could have been great.
