This is a truly awful movie.
It actually makes box-office bombs like "Wing Commander" and "The Postman" look like undisputed masterpieces.
Positive elements: about 2 special effects in the film look almost respectable; Michael York, as always, brings utter believability to, alas, banal dialogue.
Negative elements: Hmmm... Where to begin? The plot is plain stupid, the writing is pathetic and most of the special effect's look like they were made on someones home computer. Also, there are other problems with the film. For some reason, TBN has always had this strange love for putting the devil in their media. Just watch one of their music videos, TV shows or other material put out by them. The devil is always either made fun of, or praised up until the very end. (Spoiler Warning [minor]) In this film it is even more disturbing than that--- he takes communion and speaks the words Jesus spoke. Someone please point out to me where in the Revelation it is said that the devil takes communion.
Bottom line: Avoid at all costs. Don't watch it even if the DVD is in a free bin.
