If you like romance movies or drama's then this is a pretty good film to watch. I myself thought some parts were a little sappy. The only thing I did not like WARNING SPOILER was the one year up surprise ending. It was not really a surprise it was a little predictable for it to end on a happy note.
As for acting most of them played their parts well. It was kind of weird to see David out of character after watching the Buffy series. The kid who played turrets was actually pretty good.
If you plan on watching this you might want to remove children. There is a pretty good bit of nudity in this film. A little more than I expected. I guess with him being an artist I should have figured as much.
All in all this was not a bad watch. It is not a film I will see again anytime soon unless I get bored.
