I was forced to watch this movie as well.
It is horrible!
Partly the reason it is so bad is maybe because it is really cheesy (its from the 80's). The dialogue is lame, the characters are unrealistic, and i really didn't care about Maricela at all. (acting stinks also)
Plus it was really cliche! How many times have we seen the ol' "she is alone and sad so she sits by herself at lunch" routine.
Anyway, do not see this movie on your own free will!
