I was reluctant to see a comedy about marijuana but relieved to see an audience of boomers remembering rather than young people planning ahead. The delight of this movie is the supporting characters in this wacky little Cornish town. I think they gave us just the right amount of the daft lady shopkeepers. I wanted a bit more of Vince, the town layabout and UFOlogist. But I wanted even MORE MORE MORE of mobster Jacques Chevalier, charming, magnetic and more than a little bit dangerous played beautifully if briefly by French film star Tcheky Karyo.
