Lame and sexually offensive
30 August 2003
Lenny (Jonathan Silverman) is a washout with women while close friend Joey (Dan Cortese) has girls falling all over him. One day, Lenny meets a good-looking lady at the planetarium and proceeds to try his best at winning her affections. Rhonda (Allison Smith) takes a shine to Lenny, also, yet through one misadventure after another, they never quite connect with each other. Will Lenny succeed in capturing Rhonda's heart and will Joey ever stick to a lady for more than one day?

This movie is a major disappointment for romantic comedy fans everywhere. The script is lame, meandering, and, sometimes, sexually offensive. Jonathan Silverman tries hard and looks the part of a leading man but the material drags him down. The rest of the cast is utterly forgettable. (How did Monte Markham ever consent to be part of this mess?) Even the most stalwart movie enthusiasts will find this one difficult to sit through. Viewers should pass this one by at the video store. Instead, they should seek out Addicted to Love or Kissing a Fool for a more enjoyable evening at the movies.
