Review of Miami Vice

Miami Vice (1984–1989)
Still Appealing
18 February 2003
This show had a very clever originality. The exotic cars and boats the plain clothes police drove were assets captured by the police and put to use as cover while working the drug scenes. The show was a reflection of the gluttony that was popular in the late 80s as a result of the Me Generation. Many new and upcoming names that went on to continue in the film industry made appearances here. Songs that were popular at the time were often used as background music. Exotic and other outdoor scenes along with camera shots of beautiful homes help this show keep its appeal today.
