I first saw this movie when I was 18 years old. It was wonderful! I have been searching and asking about this movie since that time. I am now 42 years old. Clifton Davis played the Prince and he was perfect for the role - tall, dark, and fine. I was beginning to think that I had dreamed the entire movie in my mind. No one I have ever asked have seen the movie. I even shared that it was with all black cast members, still no one remembers it. To my knowledge it was only released on television and only shown the one time in 1978. This is a movie that has held a very special place in my heart for more than half my life - I'm ecstatic to have finally found it and now know the name of the movie to be "Cindy" instead of Cinderella!
