This sexploitation film about the making of sexploitation films has almost historical value now, because the genre has completely changed - it is now cleanly split between hardcore porn and R-rated B-movies. In many ways the film seems to parody the sex-film business, but there is ample evidence that it is probably quite true to life (as it was then).
The quality of acting varies a lot. Stuart Lancaster, a Russ Meyer regular, is fine as the sleazy producer and John Alderman's director is not too shabby either; but the female performances are rather poor throughout - quite aloof and detached.
