A MIXED BAG CURIOSITY
11 May 2004
Warning: Spoilers
WARNING: SPOILERS CONTAINED HEREIN. After the opening first ten minutes, I had to hit the fast forward button until getting

passed the lame-o fight scene. The movie's drug-related scenes

seem to have been made by someone who never took drugs in

their life. They are extremely silly, and therefore, worth seeing. After

Price toots on an opium pipe, we are treated to a mish mash of

distorted people's faces, alligators, stolen scenes from Invasion of

the Saucermen, Voodoo Woman, Earth vs. The Spider, and other

nonsense that is supposed to represent his trip. The plot is mainly

centered around kidnapped chinese girls being auctioned off.

Everything about this movie is extremely contrived and heavy

handed, which creates some odd dynamics and generates many

chuckles. As someone else aptly stated, nearly every line of

dialogue sounds like it came from a fortune cookie. If you can

stand the pain of a bad movie, this will not disappoint you in the

laugh and "What the...?" departments. If you're hunting this down,

one should note that this also goes by the title 'Souls For Sale.'

Enjoy!
