Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) recently had a bad dream that he couldn’t find Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Victoria Cook.
Is it possible that Xander didn’t have a bad dream, but a premonition? It seemed too shocking to just be random dialogue to fluff up for airtime. So, we have to wonder if Sarah and Victoria get kidnapped, who will be responsible? It would be best if the soap had a mystery captor storyline!

Twice a month Joe Lipsett will dissect a new Amityville Horror film to explore how the “franchise” has evolved in increasingly ludicrous directions. This is “The Amityville IP.”
My hunch about the higher production values for The Amityville Terror (2016) wound up being true, and whether it’s the slightly more polished look or a cast of professional actors, the sixteenth film in the “franchise” is easily the best in quite some time.
That’s grading on a scale since there are still some pretty glaring issues in the film, but, overall, director Michael Angelo has delivered a solidly entertaining Dtv film with soft callbacks to other franchise entries.
After a cold open that’s revealed to be a bracketing storyline, Amanda Barton’s screenplay quickly establishes a familiar foundation: a troubled family moves into a suspiciously cheap house on Amity Lane and the bad energy eventually manifests in murderous behavior.

Co-created by writer and producer Bernie Su and author Evan Mandery, Artificial made history by winning Twitch its first Emmy. The first scripted series for the live video streaming platform also earned a Peabody Award. With all of its accolades and two seasons under its belt, a third season was underway for the groundbreaking interactive series where viewers drive the story. That said, Su was more than ready for the new season.
“We were already in discussions about it before the pandemic with Twitch and then the pandemic happened,” Su told Deadline. “Then I was asked the question ‘Can you do this as a remote production?'”
After a beat, he answered his own question: “I, of course, said yes.”
The third season of Artificial will be appropriately titled Remote Intelligence. Produced remotely, the 12 livestreamed two-hour episodes will debut May 21 at 6pm Pt/9pm Et on Twitch — and it ups the ante on all fronts.

I recently had a chance to talk with Kourosh Ahari. He’s a very promising young filmmaker that not only appreciates all the facets of good storytelling, but also embraces the technology that would allow him to tell those stories within and outside the realm of known possibilities. That approach has worked pretty well for guys like Spielberg and Cameron, so I relished the opportunity to talk to someone with that same passion at the dawn of their career.
He has already crossed genres with some pretty surreal and powerful stories involving human emotion intersecting with extraordinary circumstances, and now he’s using an innovative new three screen technology in his horror short film The Secret Of 40. Ahari talks with me in this interview about his beginnings, his very impressive body of work thus far, and what may be next for how we watch and enjoy films.

Z Team Films is developing a new web series. The series is titled "Drained World" and the episodes take place in 2080. After a global war, the world is very different and much more hostile. Here, survivors struggle to find food and shelter, while bandits roam the land. This series was developed by Fabien Garcia (Die Fighting) and co-produced by Lohan Buson (Merantau) and the series centrally stars Fabien Garcia. Christy St. John and Antoine Piquet also star. The film's first episode is hosted below. The pilot shows the series' settings and characters. In the short film, Garcia plays Frank. He is alone in a radiated world. Meanwhile, someone is stalking him, at the forest line and a group of rogues want to steal his few belongings (they really want that backpack). The first clip is light on story, but it does show how the series will progress - to a decayed urban landscape.
