A killer stalks a group of party goers who are throwing a Halloween bash inside a deserted department store.
Frustrating addition to the Halloween horror movie sub-genre has some good ideas, but fails to execute those good ideas in a meaningful way. Black Eve takes place on Halloween, but the story could have token place on any other day of the year, because Black Eve fails to do anything that properly pays tribute to the holiday. Veronika London's character is a take charge, pregnant nun out for a good time. This character should have made for a devilishly good time, right? Wrong, because her screen time is so limited and she isn't given much of anything to do. There's some stylish camera work here and there. Too bad it isn't more evident throughout the entire film.

The people behind Big Daddy Horror Reviews are throwing their hat into the filmmaking ring. No longer will they just be critiquing movies; they said, "Step aside, we can do this ourselves." And although filming for Trespass at Your Own Risk doesn't begin until 2012, they have a something really impressive up their sleeve…
No, the film doesn't have a trailer yet, doesn't have its own website, but it has something that I, Doctor Gash of Dread Central, immediately fell in love with. Trespass at Your Own Risk features the absolutely stunning Veronika London in a starring role. My goodness, she's easy on the eyes.
Read on for additional details on the film. Apparently there are some other actors and actresses involved in this one…I don't know. Did I mention Veronika London? It's written and produced by some Brandon something dude, but did I mention it stars Veronika London?

Veronika London Veronika London, the bad girl, the Megan Fox of Canada. One day you might read in the tabloids that she's dating Shane West (A Walk To Remember) or James Franco (127 Hours) the next. While these magazines are busy gossiping away on who she is having an affair with or what she's up to next, one thing they forget to mention is that this indie scream queen of horror films, has got a sizzling screen presence. Known for her edgy style and in your face attitude, Veronika London has that "it" quality that so hard to come by. She just has a way of owning whatever frame she appears in. Deemed one of the potential breakout stars of 2011 by this very site, Veronika London is making waves with racy Maxim photo shoots and a bold role in Ryan M. Andrews slasher Black Eve. In Black Eve, a Halloween party is disrupted by a killer.

The horror genre is known for being the genre in which plenty of up and coming talents have been discovered. Why don't we take a look: Margot Kidder and Bob Clark of Black Christmas, Cory Monteith in Killer Bash, Shannon Elizabeth in Jack Frost, Brandon Fehr in Final Destination, and so on and so on.
With this first annual edition, I wanted to bring some attention to slightly unknown talent that's been making waves or has the potential to do so in the horror community. Anybody in this talented lineup has the potential to become a breakthrough star in my opinion and I wanted to highlight that. I fully believe in the talent of each person that's here on this list. These are the ones you might not have heard of yet, but you should be keeping an eye out on them......

Sick
With the completion of his latest horror film, Black Eve (an 80’s style slasher film) starring up and coming scream queen Veronika London, Ryan M. Andrews is switching it up to take on another style of horror-
the zombie sub-genre.
Having already tackled multiple sub-genres of horror,, surprisingly, Andrews was not expecting to do a zombie horror film any time soon. He explains, “I love zombie films, but I wanted to refrain from doing one, because it tends to be almost too common for low budget horror. Many times it is done wrong. The best zombie films always offer something new. Just look at “28 Days Later” or “Shaun Of The Dead” for example. They were huge, because they were different. At the time when...

Striking in raven black hair, Veronika London’s raw talent, assets and ambition have catapulted her to the fast-track in a span of a year. Coming off recent television appearances on both HBO and Show Time TV-series, a busy year culminates in London’s portrayal of the heroine in Paul Robert’s "Burning Amber". The movie is set to have heavy environmental and religious themes punctuated with Resident Evil-like action. The Elusive Man PosterDirectors/writers: Marc Roussel and Mark Sanders.
The Elusive Man is a co-creation from Marc Roussel (Remote) and Mark Sanders (40 Years Younger), which will have run at the Action on Film Int' Film Festival Sunday, July 25th. The film is more comedy than anything else as larger than life characters return from the '40s for wild bemusement (confusion). The result is a hit and miss short of sixteen minutes, with "the culturally devoid" Toronto, likely, the film's backdrop (Elusive).
The film starts off with a loveless marriage involving a mature man, of wealth, with a more beautiful, scheming vixen. A continuity error occurs quickly with the wife's position on the bed changing. However, the action moves ahead quickly with character Blaine (George Komorowski), the husband, getting mugged in his own office. Soon, ears are chopped off, a wife announces her cheating ways, and Blaine is threatened...

Black Eve is a Canadian produced horror film that is now finished with shooting and just getting ready to create dark dreams. The film stars musical artist, producer, and rising actor Neil Green, who was interviewed here (Neil Green Interview). The film will be released on Halloween 2010 and the story is definitely out of someone's nightmare. Character Jewel (Eva James) awakens to find all of her friends dead and Green's character, the Man chasing her through isolated halls and abandoned rooms. Seeing your friends bloody corpses is as nightmarish as dreams come. Also, this is not the type of fantasy you want to fall asleep to, but Black Eve will excite those willing to face the darkness of unknown killers. The first teaser trailer is below and the dialogue is ominously delivered by Green himself as the Man. When is the last time a horror film had a voice-over from the villain?...

Green also talks about the Jamaican Posse, a Toronto gang, and their influence in his writing.
