Bob Stephenson may not be what you'd call a household name, but he might be the closest thing we have to a household face. Stephenson has appeared in countless commercials and played Deputy Jimmy Taylor on the CBS drama Jericho and Walter Bailey in the ABC series The Forgotten. He was the shy slob who dated Jennifer Aniston in Friends With Money and the airport security guard who confronted Edward Norton about his vibrating suitcase in Fight Club. (He's appeared in four David Fincher films, in fact.) And beginning this month, the Oxnard-born actor is about to get a lot more big-screen time with his one-two-three-four box-office punch Larry Crowne, Our Idiot Brother, Hick (with Blake Lively and Alec Baldwin) and Lorene Scafaria's feature debut Seeking a Friend for the End of the World.

Canadian-born actress Elisha Cuthbert, perhaps best known for playing Kim Bauer on Fox's 24, has joined ABC's The Forgotten cast in a recurring role, which begins in February of next year.
Cuthbert will play Maxine Denver, a strong and successful Chicago professional who is forced to put her skepticism of "amateur detectives" aside when The Forgotten Network begins investigating a case close to home.
If you haven't seen it, the series focuses on a team of dedicated amateurs The Forgotten Network who work on murder cases involving unidentified victims. After the police have given up, this group, led by Alex Donovan (Christian Slater), must first solve the puzzle of the victim's identity in order to then help catch the killer. These are citizen volunteers solving extraordinary crimes. Their persistence and compassion for the cases put them on a personal and emotional journey that focuses on giving names back to the deceased.

Is it just me, or does it seem like The Forgotten kind of snuck onto the fall TV schedule? Like it picked a quiet little corner opposite the much-more hyped (and deservedly so) The Good Wife, and Jay Leno doing all he can to keep a network afloat? I point out the oddity of it because Christian Slater is in the lead role. Of course, the last time he tried this network TV thing it didn't work out so well. Don't get me wrong, I liked My Own Worst Enemy, his NBC show about a suburban dad who doesn't know...

Chicago – In the United States, the remains of 40,000 people remain unidentified. ABC’s new mystery “The Forgotten” is about a civilian, victims rights group led by Alex (Christian Slater) who tries to solve the cold cases that the officials have left behind because there are no relatives to push for them. They identify the unknown. Sadly, the show probably deserves to remain a mystery to viewers as well.
Television Rating: 2.0/5.0 A disembodied voice rings out over a shot of a dead woman on the side of a road in Chicago - “I was like you. Then this happened to me.” What is this? “The Lovely Bones”? The narration of a corpse being wheeled into a morgue as she claims that she’s “waiting to be found” is more than a little creepy and arguably in bad taste, but the concept of “The Forgotten” is that only a select group of...
