With the award-winning “Only Murders in the Building” already under its belt, Hulu is dipping back into the whodunit waters as it sets sail with the all-new “Death and Other Details.” Stage and screen star Mandy Patinkin (“Homeland”) and Violett Beane (“The Flash”) lead the cast as Cotesworth and his reluctant protégée Imogen, who must solve a locked-room murder mystery onboard a Mediterranean luxury liner and clear Imogen’s name. “Death and Other Details” will premiere on Hulu on Tuesday, Jan. 14. It's been roughly three years since we've last heard/seen anything regarding the puzzle game RiME, but now it's coming back from the shadows with a new trailer, release window, and multiple platforms. Come inside to check out the new details!
If you forgot about RiME, the gorgeous looking puzzler, you're probably not alone. The game was initially revealed during Gamescom 2013 as a PS4 exclusive. In March of last year, with seemingly no movement on the title, Sony pulled the publishing deal, which means the developers are now free to release the game everywhere...which is exactly what they're doing:

Several friends of mine used to fantasize about working in the video game industry. Some abandoned the idea eventually, others unsuccessfully pursued it for a while, but they all continue to agree that working for a game developer would be their dream job. Somehow they fail to notice that developers are just like any other company — when times are hard, they’re plagued by layoffs.
Polygon reports that Capcom has recently let go of several Us staff, including Senior VP Christian Svensson, a former game journalist who’d been with the company for eight years. He posted the news on his Facebook page, where he wrote:
“I’ve had the opportunity to interface with the best fans any company could ever hope to have, I know that I wasn’t always able to deliver what they wanted, but I promise that I did my best to champion their needs and wants.

Capcom’s decision to port “Resident Evil: Revelations HD” to consoles and PC was made “after the 3Ds launch and after we received fan and critic feedback on the game,” the game’s producer Tsukasa Takenaka recently told Joystiq.
“When we worked on the 3Ds version, we were completely targeting the 3Ds. We didn't start in HD, scale down, and now we're scaling up,” Takenaka noted, explaining that it would have been impossible to develop a console version of “Revelations” alongside the once-exclusive 3Ds game.
When it became clear that some “Resident Evil” fans didn’t own a 3Ds, or simply wanted to explore the infested Queen Zenobia on the big screen, Capcom began development on “Resident Evil: Revelations HD,” continuing an audience-friendly streak from the Japanese publisher. They recently promised more “focused” titles in the future, “as opposed to trying to be all things for all people.

Following Electronic Art’s somewhat dubious mea culpa with regards to “Medal of Honor: Warfighter”’s quality, Capcom is similarly falling on its sword, saying that its most popular zombie-shooting franchise needs “focus.” Speaking with Rock, Paper, Shotgun at D.I.C.E., Capcom’s VP of strategic planning and business development Christian Svensson explained the direction “Resident Evil” moving forward.

Earlier this week Capcom confirmed that the former 3Ds exclusive survival horror title Resident Evil: Revelations was being ported to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, and PC as both a full retail game and digital download. While the announcement did come with a handful of screenshots, everyone knows that you can’t really judge a game’s visuals until you see it in motion — preferably with a spooky piano soundtrack and evil sounding voice-over. Thankfully, Capcom has now provided all of the above with the release of the game’s debut trailer.
The video footage of Revelations in the trailer is fairly impressive and it appears that Capcom did a great job of bumping up the game’s visuals, especially when you consider that it is being ported up from the small screens on the 3Ds. With the new high definition look and all the extras that Capcom is packing into the game,...

Wouldn't it be great if you could hit the 3Ds eShop and download all those Capcom games you've been waiting to pick up? Well, you may be able to do just that very soon. "Many of our our other previously released 3Ds titles will be coming to the eShop in the coming months," said Capcom senior vice president Christian Svensson. "Details to follow when we're closer to release."
Unfortunately, there's no word on which Capcom games will be making the switch to digital, but games like Super Street Fighter IV 3D and Resident Evil: Mercenaries 3D seem like safe bets. Capcom also has Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate launching in March, which could mean we'll see it released digitally the same, like many other games have been.

Fans have lately been worried Capcom wouldn't be revisiting the Mega Man franchise. Thankfully, during a recent interview, Capcom laid those fears to rest, stating Mega Man is returning to our gaming machines.
Speaking with Nintendo Power, Capcom USA senior VP Christian Svensson revealed that we'll actually be seeing quite a bit of Mega Man in the future, not only on handhelds, but also on our major consoles.
"I can say with certainty that you’ve not seen the last of the Blue Bomber on consoles and handhelds, and, with luck, we’ll be celebrating his 50th anniversary, including all of the games you’re going to enjoy over the next 25 years,” said Svensson. “That said, an issue we’ve had in the past has been talking about games and announcing them before we’re certain they’re going to come out, which unfortunately has lead to profound disappointment for many fans.

In an interview with GameInformer, Capcom’s Svp of planning and business development Christian Svensson dismissed the threat that the upcoming iPad 3 will pose to the conventional console gaming market. The head honcho suggested that gamers will continue to play games on their iPad and iPhone and continue to play stuff on their console, rather than cannibalizing the console market:
Unless there are some fundamental changes to the input device, I don’t think it changes the audiences meaningfully. I don’t think it’s the hardware capability that’s the game changer. It will enable some new experiences but not meaningfully different enough to necessarily move core console gamers who only play console games off of there and onto the iPad exclusively.

Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition will no longer be limited when played offline. Previously, Capcom announced that the PC Arcade Edition would have limitations for those who played offline. When it was released in the winter of early 2009, Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li was instantly called one of the most hilariously awful movies of the decade, if not all-time. So it’s surprising that we may be seeing more films based off of the popular series of video games where players fight each other in an arena-type setting. But, sometimes surprises strike us (no pun intended).
Collider (via GordonAndTheWhale) has learned that there will likely be more movies in the series, despite the poor critical reception (see above) and tepid box office returns for the last film in the franchise. The company that produces the successful games and the unsuccessful films, Capcom, sees that there is a legitimate financial opportunity in taking the series to theater screens, but even they are aware that these attempts haven’t ended well. Capcom, the company behind some of the best-loved games ever are planning a new Street Fighter movie – despite the others being dreadful. Obviously, like the characters in the game, they’re beaten when they’re down they just hit ‘reply match’. Back in 1994 we were Jean-Claude van Dammed with a total stinker that was sadly the swan song of ace actor Raul Julia.
Last year saw Street Fighter 2: The Legend of Chun Li that was met with tumbleweeds blowing through theatres. They should have called it Street Fighter Poo.
Now development and planning dude, Christian Svensson, told Gameslive.tv that there is indeed a new film being worked on. In total business style, he said:
“As long as the games are strong, the fans will be there. Certainly, the other part of this is we do have actually very successful uses of Street Fighter IP in comics and merchandise like Snuggies and action figures.

There’s a book to be written there. This is where I have to be careful. Let’s just say there were a lot of people with different ideas as to what was the best route to take with that movie. "And the other part is designing the game around, figuring out who has which package, even if you could do that."
Svensson's reasoning there makes a valid point about why "Super Street Fighter 4" needed to be released as its own game, and I get that. But he...
