The producers of the forthcoming film Beastly wanted to share an exclusive clip with AfterElton.com readers which features Neil Patrick Harris as Will, a blind mentor figure to deformed character Hunter played by Alex Pettyfer. He's the "beast" of the title, though honestly, even "deformed" Pettyfer is pretty fine.
You can check out the short scene below along with some great photos from the production. Beastly opens nationwide March 4th!

Film Synopsis: Seventeen year old Kyle (Alex Pettyfer) is the spoiled, shallow and incredibly popular prince of his high school kingdom. Entirely captivated and empowered by his own physical appearance, Kyle foolishly chooses Kendra (Mary-Kate Olsen), a goth classmate rumored to be a witch, as his latest target for humiliation. Unfazed by his cruel behavior, Kendra decides to teach him a lesson — she transforms him into someone as unattractive on the outside...

Chicago – Working with high level actors such as Paul Giamatti and Dustin Hoffman didn’t faze director Richard J. Lewis. He had pursued the film version of the Mordecai Richler’s novel “Barney’s Version” for several years, and it was his direction that recently got Giamatti (as Barney) the Golden Globe Award.
Lewis is a veteran of television, serving as a producer on the seminal police drama “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation” from 2002 to 2009. Before that, he directed several shows, including “Due South,” Showtime’s “Beggars and Choosers” and most recently “The Defenders.” He scored a notable feature debut with “Whale Music” [1994] and even directed “K-9:Pi” [2002] starring Jim Belushi.

In a move that will no doubt trigger an avalanche of show killer jokes, Eric Balfour is joining the cast of The CW's The Beautiful Life for a multi-episode arc. The star of Hawaii, Conviction, Sex Love & Secrets, and a slew of other short-lived series will play Eric, a charming rival to Claudia (Elle Macpherson) at a competing modeling agency. To be fair, Balfour has also appeared on a bunch of shows that weren't euthanized after nine episodes. In addition to The O.C., he had arcs on 24, The West Wing, and Six Feet Under. He was also really charming on The Ex List, so lighten up on the dude. Fun fact free of charge: The gig reunites Balfour with his former O.C. co-star Mischa Barton.
