Bradley Cooper is known for his roles in films such as “Limitless,” “A Star is Born” and “Silver Linings Playbook.” On Sunday, T-Mobile hopes he will be recognized for his work in one of their Super Bowl commercials.

Netflix thinks Addison Rae is all that.
So much so that the streamer has signed the TikTok star to a multi-picture deal.
Rae recently made her acting debut with a starring role in Netflix’s “He’s All That,” a gender-swapped remake of the 1999 high school rom-com “She’s All That.”
“Getting the opportunity to work with Netflix was such a pinch me moment and now to be able to continue the relationship is beyond my wildest dreams,” Rae said. “I’m thrilled to be able to collaborate with this incredible team and am excited to develop projects while continuing to strengthen my skills as an actress.”
The streamer’s director of family film Naketha Mattocks said, “Addison’s Rae’s charm and promise is undeniable as evidenced by ‘He’s All That’ and her already passionate fan base. We’re thrilled to be part of this next phase of her burgeoning career as an actress.

Addison Rae didn’t confirm nor deny whether she’s attending this year’s Met Gala, but she revealed that she’s recently became email buddies with Anna Wintour.

Rae has yet to meet Wintour. Perhaps they’ll come face to face at the Met Gala on Sept. 13. Rae isn’t saying if she’ll be at the fashion event, simply teasing, “There are a lot of exciting things coming up.”

Netflix released the first trailer for “He’s All That” on Wednesday, which stars TikTok star Addison Rae as a popular beauty influencer determined to turn her scruffy classmate into prom king. So yes, it’s a pretty identical plot to the 1999 teen rom-com “She’s All That” — but with a gender flip thrown in.
“He’s All That” follows teen social media influencer Padgett (Rae) as she endures a humiliating breakup that goes viral after she catches her pop star boyfriend cheating on her while she’s live-streaming him.
To fix her reputation, Padgett makes a bet that she can turn the school’s least popular student, Cameron Kweller (“Cobra Kai’s” Tanner Buchanan), into prom king material. But when she finds herself actually falling for him — amid horseback riding dates and, of course, an elaborate makeover — things get a bit messy.

When director David Dobkin brought the 2005 comedy “Wedding Crashers” to the marketing team at New Line Cinema, he didn’t get the reception he thought he would. Marketing head Russell Schwartz thought that Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson’s characters were too misogynistic, since their main aim seemed to be crashing weddings to look for girls.
Dobkin pushed back. He saw it a different way: The pair loved weddings and were the life of the party. When the film came out on July 15, 2000, “Wedding Crashers” became the first R-rated comedy to break $200 million at the domestic box office.
“Wedding Crashers” follows Jeremy Grey and John Beckwith — played by Vaughn and Wilson, respectively — two divorce attorneys who spend their free time sneaking into weddings in hopes of meeting eligible women. While studios tout records, market share and No. 1 status based on box office grosses, we thought it’d be a good idea to look at some of this year’s summer films (tentpoles and not) to see how their budgets stacked up against their worldwide grosses to date. These budget numbers do not include domestic/international marketing and distribution costs, nor do they take into account the splits with exhibitors, but they do give an idea of outlay and income. Bear in mind, that while some of the biggest offshore grosses come from China, the studios are only getting a 25% cut from that territory. Also, some of these pictures will end up doing well in home entertainment and may make a profit over time — as in, a few years.

Shepard is set and Michael Pena is attached to play Baker and Ponch respectively. Warners tried to adapt the property into a comedy film a few years ago, but the project stalled. This version is said to boast a more serious tone along "Bad Boys" or "Lethal Weapon" lines.
Shepard expects to perform his own riding and stunts as he's a professional driver of race cars and motorcycles. Andrew Panay is producing.

Exclusive: Warner Bros has set Dax Shepard to write, direct and star in a screen version of CHiPS, that TV series that ran from 1977-83 and featured two officers who patrolled the highways of California armed with motorcycles and the tightest khaki cop uniforms in television history. Shepard will play Officer Jon Baker (played in the original by Larry Wilcox), while Michael Pena is attached to play Frank “Ponch” Poncherello, the role Erik Estrada originated. Rick Rosner created the NBC series.
This is the most serious Warner Bros has been in turning CHiPS into a film. The studio tried it years ago, after That ’70s Show star Wilmer Valderrama showed up in the office of exec Greg Silverman (who’s now running production at the studio). Dressed in the signature tight-fitting uniform, Valderrama merely said, “Funny, right?” — and he walked out with a deal and an intention to play Ponch.

Those polarising threats of a Goonies remake lose some of their power this week with the release of Earth to Echo. David Green’s bittersweet anthem for alienated youth is so profoundly in love with the 1983 classic that The Goonies could be credited as supporting cast. Yet the tender delivery of this adoration is such that the frequent nods to it are entirely forgivable. By acknowledging the singularly treacherous tightrope between childhood and adolescence with generosity, Earth to Echo forges a fresh path over this well trodden ground. This is jointly achieved by the guilelessness of the four young leads and the clever incorporation of social media as narrator.
Our Goonies are Alex, Tuck and Munch – The Mulberry Ballers Club. A trio of misfits in the Las Vegas ‘burbs, bonded by their exclusion from the in-crowd. Munch (Reese Hartwig) is Data 2.0 – techie, eccentric and unintentionally hilarious. Foster kid Alex (Teo Halm...

Earth to Echo marks the feature directing and screenwriting debuts of Dave Green and Henry Gayden. A throwback to classics like E.T. and The Goonies, where it’s up to the children to save the day without any help from surrounding adults, the film follows three youngsters whose families are being forced out of their homes due to highway construction. As they are packing to move, the kids start receiving strange messages on their cell phones, leading them to ride their bikes out into the middle of nowhere. They eventually come across a small, friendly alien who’s stranded on Earth and is looking for a way back home.
Recently, at the La press day for the film, I had the chance to sit down for an exclusive interview with Green and Gayden to discuss Earth to Echo. Among other things, the friendly duo spoke about the challenges they faced on set,...

One of the hardest things about the way this generation of filmmakers has internalized the movies that inspired them is that watching their movies can sometimes feel like you're reading a laundry list of the things that they saw when they were younger, rather than watching something where all of those influences have crystallized into something new. "Earth To Echo" could accurately be described as a "found-footage" riff on "Explorers" and "E.T.", and that description would certainly impart something of the film to someone. But the thing that "Earth To Echo" most accurately reflects from the best of the '80s movies that continue to linger with viewers, even 30 years after many of them first hit theaters, is that sense of something genuine about the kids. When I look at "E.T.", the first thing that strikes me as remarkable is just how right Spielberg got all of the kids in the film.

Remember when movies about kids felt genuinely scary? Like Goonies, where its child heroes could be murdered by criminals? Or E.T., where the U.S. government was out to hurt an adorable extraterrestrial buddy? The stakes felt terrifyingly high and the heroes felt relatable and familiar. They could have been us. Well, this is precisely the feel of the upcoming Relativity adventure Earth to Echo, as shown in the trailer here. Co-written by Henry Gayden and Andrew Panay, and directed by Dave Green, Earth to Echo centers on a trio of young friends whose lives are thrown into spin when they meet an alien visitor. Rather than an homage to '80s-set Amblin like J.J. Abrams' earnest but flawed Super 8, this sci-fi adventure is set in the contemporary Us, and employs the popular horror-movie trope of found footage to unfold its out of this world tale. The official...
